Show Me What You've Got!

Still hanging on to a company mug, a service award or some mysterious piece of corporate appreciation that survived three moves and two layoffs?

I want to see it.

Send me a picture and tell me a little about it

Tell Me About Your Treasure

Just do your best! Tell me a little about the object, how you got it and why you've kept it. You don't have to write the whole story right now.

If you've got a picture, I'd love to see it! You can email it to sheila@sheilahammond.com with "Museum Submission" in the subject line.

What Belongs in the Museum?

I'm looking for actual objects from people's working lives. Company swag, recognition awards, anniversary gifts, holiday presents and the strange little things employers handed out instead of something useful.

It doesn't have to be expensive, ridiculous or even particularly interesting to look at. Sometimes the most ordinary objects have the best stories.

A few ground rules: It needs to be a physical object. No employee badges, please.  That's it!  Easy peasy!

And if you're not sure whether something belongs here, send me a picture anyway. I've spent 30 years in corporate America. Very little surprises me anymore.

What Happens Next?

I'll read what you've submitted and, if you've emailed a picture to sheila@sheilahammond.com, I'll take a look at that too!

Then I'll get in touch so we can talk more about it.  We'll discuss the story, what you're comfortable sharing and how to get the object to me.

Once it's here, I'll photograph it and create its exhibit for the museum website. Your story may also become a video on the Museum of Corporate Loyalty YouTube channel.

You can remain anonymous if you'd prefer. We'll work that out together.

Your object opens the door. The story is why it belongs here.
